The device keys for the Lemonbeat protocol are only downloaded to the SHC storage (if there are Lemonbeat devices included in the configuration) but they are not used locally. They will not work after the BE services will be stopped.

We only use locally the device keys for Cosip and wMBus protocols.

After 1st of March 2024 the time sync will still be done, as it doesn't depend on our backend. Both central units 1.0 and 2.0 check a list of external NTP services.

There are central units 2.0 (SHC 2.0) that have or don't have the internal battery. From what we know, this battery only affects the time. However, when the SHC 2.0 starts, no matter if there is or not an internal battery, the time sync will be done. So, if the battery gets empty, no error should occur.

I just did a test, disconnecting the internal battery for an SHC 2.0, and nothing happened after a reboot. Everything works as expected.

Can you please collect the central unit logs with an empty USB memory stick (formatted FAT32) after trying to update the FSC8 device, and attach them afterward?

We had several identical issues reported by other users, and we discovered that a system file uses too much disk space, somewhere around 90%. Probably this also happens in your case.

Unfortunately, there is no solution to solve this problem. Deleting the device activity data or the images doesn't help. The reset of the central unit doesn't fix the disk space issue, The only solution is to replace the central unit.

Unfortunately, the extension of the validity of this service is not supported anymore.
